ALERT: Big Name In Congress A Member Of ‘Secret’ Anti-Israel Group

(Rallying Patriots) – It’s no secret that Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan Democrat and member of the infamous “Squad,” tends to fall a bit on the anti-Semitic side, having a lengthy history of making anti-Israel remarks and hanging a Palestinian flag outside of her office. She actually left that flag up after the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, knowing full well the group slaughtered over 1,000 people, the vast majority of which were civilians. She has pushed false narratives designed to make Israel the villains of the story, while attempting to portray Hamas as a group of freedom fighters.

And now, according to a report from Fox News Digital, it’s been revealed that Tlaib is a member of a secret social media group where many have lifted up Hamas terrorists and glorified the organization in the current conflict against Israel. Yeah, the optics on this are pretty bad. In fact, if it were a Republican found in a similar kind of group against a minority, you can guarantee the news media would be reporting on it from sun up to sun down, demanding he or she step away from their position effective immediately.

And honestly, that’s what Tlaib should do right now, as that would be the respectful thing to do. It’ll never happen.

Maher Abdel-qader, the man who founded the Facebook group, also has a number of connections to Tlaib and other big name liberal politicians. He has been heavily criticized in the past for making a number of anti-Semitic social media posts. One of them called into question the reality of the Holocaust. That’s a pretty big red flag.

Another group that Tlaib is a member of, the Palestinian American Congress, made a number of highly offensive pro-Hamas posts following the deadly attacks. One such message, which was posted on Oct. 12, said, “We don’t want to throw you in the sea…we want you to ride it back from where you came.”

It featured an image of an older Israeli woman being held captive by a Hamas terrorist. Classy, right? Utterly deplorable in every possible way. And that’s only the start.

A member posted on Oct. 19 discussing the “achievements” of “the resistance in Northern occupied Palestine.” The achievements they are speaking of include dozens of dead Israeli soldiers.

“Since yesterday I have been attached to the TV watching the news,” a group member stated on Oct. 10, addressing the “American Media” and saying, “You, and the people directing you, are the problem, you created it almost 100 years ago, made it official 75 years ago and you have been feeding its flam ever since.”

“You consider Hamas a terrorist organization and I am not going to argue with you at the same time you have been broadcasting that they have been killing women and children, guess that is what terrorists do at the same time no mention to the killing of Palestinian women, children and entire families killed on a daily basses (sic) by the [peace-loving] state of Israel using American gifts of weapons and jet fighters,” the post continued.

“Yesterday I didn’t see Hamas I saw the grand kids (sic) of the refugees that ethnically cleansed from their homeland attacking the grand kids (sic) of the colonists whom sent them to diaspora,” the group later remarked.

The piece from Fox noted that Tlaib officially joined the group around six years ago and made a post during her 2018 congressional campaign. The very next year she caught a lot of heat after the Daily Caller found out about her membership with that group and the massive number of anti-Semitic writings that were published.

“Tlaib is the only Palestinian American in Congress and has faced scrutiny over her comments after Hamas’ bloody invasion and the ensuing war. In a largely symbolic gesture, the House of Representatives voted to censure her in a 234-188 vote last week as a formal public rebuke of her most recent anti-Israel comments made in the wake of the Jewish nation’s battle against the terror group. Her congressional office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment,” Fox News Digital explained. “Tlaib has a long history with Abdel-qader, the founder of the Palestinian American Congress group, who has repeatedly promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories over the years. He previously shared a video that called Jews ‘satanic’ and questioned whether 6 million of them had died in the Holocaust. He later walked back those comments.”

Taking a deeper look at the Facebook group’s founder, Abdel-qader, Fox News disclosed that he had participated in several fundraising events alongside Tlaib over the course of the last several years and is featured in a number of photos with her that have been published on social media.

He’s not only helped her raise campaign money but has donated $6,500 himself since 20018. Abdel-qader was also the chairman of her finance committee in 2018. These two are thicker than thieves.

“Tlaib introduced him by the title at a campaign event and presented him with a medal in April 2018 as a sign of gratitude for his help with her inaugural campaign. On Monday, Abdel-qader posted a flier on his Facebook page, advertising a Chicago fundraiser for Tlaib and Pennsylvania Democrat Rep. Summer Lee, two congresswomen who he says “whole heartedly (sic) support’ their community and the ‘just cause of Palestine,'” the report added.

Abdel-qader has attended a number of pro-Palestinian protests in the U.S. ever since Israel struck back at Hamas, along with making more anti-Israeli posts on his Facebook account. Of course, he doesn’t need to worry about being booted from the platform because they seem to like that sort of thing over there.
