Facebook Can’t Stomach GOP Senate Candidate’s Super Bowl Ad

(Rallying Patriots) – The radical leftists running Facebook have decided that Republican Arizona Senate candidate Jim Lamon’s campaign ad that ran during the Super Bowl is not appropriate for their platform and have banned it.

The social media platform contends that the ad violates its rules against promoting the sale of firearms.

Lamon’s campaign attempted to run the ad several times on Facebook. The ad is a video of Lamon squaring off with actors that represent Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly in a parody on Western gunfights.

The ads, which aired during the Super Bowl, include a scene in which Lamon shoots the weapons out of the hands of Biden, Pelosi and Kelly. Mind you, he only shoots the weapons out of their hands and portrays no violence towards the individuals, unlike numerous graphic images the left celebrated while President Trump was in office.

Facebook decided to pull the campaign’s ads after they have been running for several days claiming they were in violation of their policies regarding “weapons, ammunition, or explosives,” according to an affiliate of the Lamon campaign.

They sure don’t have a problem showing Hollywood movie trailers that depict violence though.

“This is the second time in a month our campaign’s message has been censored by Big Tech,” a representative from Lamon’s campaign said in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The first time was when Yahoo rejected a campaign ad featuring Lamon saying “Let’s Go Brandon.”

“It’s incredibly disappointing that Facebook has decided to pull the Super Bowl ad but we shouldn’t be surprised given that one of our opponents is embedded in big tech.”

Facebook’s policies on “weapons, ammunition, or explosives” state that “ads must not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives,” which includes “ads for weapon modification accessories.”

Lamon’s ad, however, does not directly promote the sale of any weapons. It merely features firearms, you know, like countless Hollywood movie trailers all of which are allowed to be promoted on Facebook.

Furthermore, after a review of Facebook’s Ad Library by the DCNF, it was found that the platform previously allowed other politicians to run ads featuring firearms such as Las Vegas City Councilwoman Michele Fiore, a Nevada gubernatorial candidate who ran an ad for a week in which she brandished a shotgun.

Facebook, of course, did not respond to the DCNF’s request for a comment.

It’s clear that Facebook is banning ads for political reasons given the fact that in December of 2021, the social media giant banned conservative children’s book published Heroes of Liberty from advertising. They’ve also banned numerous other conservative candidates and organizations from advertising on the platform.

What’s more is that Lamon’s primary opponent, Republican Blake Masters, criticized the ad calling it “absurd and desperate.” Masters is backed by conservative billionaire Peter Thiel who just so happens to be a Facebook board member.

Lamon’s ad never stood a chance on Facebook.

“First Blake Masters sided with the media elites and the Left against this ad. And then the next day Masters’ allies at Facebook took it down — this level of censorship is outrageous,” a representative from Lamon’s campaign told the DCNF.

This level of censorship truly is outrageous.
