(Rallying Patriots) – In the final days of the Obama administration, then US Deputy Chief of Mission to Ukraine, George Kent, sent an email to top State Department officials in Washington informing them that Hunter Biden’s business dealings were undermining the embassy’s attempts to fight corruption in the country.
John Solomon, editor for Just the News, obtained a copy of the November 22, 2016, email which had been classified as “confidential” by then-US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, which is the lowest level of secrecy.
Naturally, the email completely shatters the Democrat’s narrative that it was Trump who was working against US interests with a foreign country.
It was actually the Biden crime family who was guilty of this and had Kent or Yovanovitch actually spoken truthfully about this email during the sham impeachment trial of President Trump, the world would have seen the truth clearly.
Solomon attempted to submit “multiple” Freedom of Information Act lawsuits to obtain State Dept. documents regarding the Ukraine business activities of Hunter Biden and his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, but the lawsuits had not resulted in any documents being released to him.
One of the recipients of Kent’s email was Jorgan Andrews, then-Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. Other recipient names have been redacted. The subject line read: “Re: Zlochevskiy Meeting request – Herbst, Atlantic Council, and Blue Star.”
Mykola Zlochevsky was the owner of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings where Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer had been offered seats on the company’s board where they earned massive salaries despite having no relevant experience in the energy industry.
According to a Senate report, Archer joined Burisma in April 2014 and Hunter the next month.
Also in 2014, then-President Obama assigned Joe Biden to the task of assisting the Ukrainian government with fighting corruption that had been plaguing the country for decades. According to the Democratic Party at that time, Hunter Biden’s conveniently timed appointment to the board of Burisma would have no effect on these efforts.
In his email, Kent detailed Burisma’s long history of corruption, which included confirmation by Ukrainian prosecutors of a $7 million “bribe to shut the [criminal investigation] case” against the company.
“The real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter’s presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine,” he wrote.
“Ukrainians heard one message from us, and then saw another set of behavior, with the [Biden] family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules in the oil/gas sector,” Kent noted.
Interestingly, Solomon said that in other emails in the chain, State Department officials expressed concern over allegations of corruption surrounding Archer. He was eventually charged and convicted with corruption.
One official wrote, “I should note that there were two American members of the Burisma board: Hunter Biden and Devon Archer. Archer was recently indicted in a federal fraud case.”
It’s no coincidence that these emails never made it to Trump’s legal team or House lawmakers during the 2019 impeachment charade hearings.
