SHOWDOWN: Trump Chief Of Staff Mark Meadows Sues Pelosi And Every Member Of January 6 Committee

(Rallying Patriots) – President Donald Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows has officially filed a lawsuit against Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, along with the rest of the January 6th Select Committee that is currently “investigating” the incident that unfolded at the Capitol building back at the beginning of the year.

According to the folks over at The Gateway Pundit, the committee prepared on Wednesday to continue forward with criminal contempt charges against the former Trump chief of staff after he said no to appearing for a deposition.

As we all well know, this committee has one job, and it isn’t to uncover the truth behind what happened at the Capitol building on Jan. 6. No, their mission is to try and paint up conservatives and Trump supporters as radical homegrown terrorists in order further divide the country and turn Americans against each other.

“Mark Meadows informed the committee he would no longer appear before the sham committee for a deposition because they weren’t respecting boundaries concerning executive privilege,” the report said.

Then Liz Cheney, along with Bennie Thompson, responded to Meadows by pushing contempt charges against him.

“According to court records, Meadows is suing Nancy Pelosi and the January 6 select committee as it prepares to take action against him,” GP’s report stated.

A Politico report said, “Mark Meadows, facing an imminent threat of criminal contempt of Congress charges, is suing Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the Jan. 6 select panel.”

“The former White House chief of staff has filed legal action against Pelosi, according to court records. As the Jan. 6 select panel prepares to take action against him, Meadows has claimed he can’t discuss matters that could be covered by executive privilege,” the report continued.

Another report from Infowars, “That came after Meadows’s attorney wrote to the committee on Tuesday to say that Meadows could not cooperate with the committee because it was attempting to subpoena his private telephone records from his cell phone provider, Verizon.”

The lawsuit goes on to say that the committee is demanding that the former chief of staff violate executive privilege, as well as the Constitution, by asking his cell phone provider to break the law.

“The Select Committee acts absent any valid legislative power and threatens to violate long standing principles of executive privilege and immunity that are of constitutional origin and dimension. Without intervention by this Court, Mr. Meadows faces the harm of both being illegally coerced into violating the Constitution and having a third party involuntarily violate Mr. Meadows rights and the requirements of relevant laws governing records of electronic communications,” the report said.

Again, this whole thing is nothing more than a witch hunt to try and vilify those who disagree with the leftist agenda. It’s a good thing Meadows is fighting back. The left need to be sent a message that the good folks in the conservative movement, many who support Trump, aren’t violent people, but we will use every legal means at our disposal to fight against tyranny and the suppression of free speech.
