(Rallying Patriots) – You’d think the attempted assassination of a US Supreme Court Justice would be headline news for every news outlet in America but, in 2022, you’d be woefully wrong.
Many left-wing “news” outlets conveniently suppressed the story of a wanna-be assassin showing up in SCOTUS Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s neighborhood last week, including the disgraceful and highly partisan The New York Times.
Host of HBO’s “Real Time,” Bill Maher slammed the NYT for its biased coverage of the incident in which a 26-year-old California man named Nicholas John Roske was arrested carrying several weapons, including a pistol, and tools for a home invasion outside of Kavanaugh’s Maryland residence last Wednesday.
Now Roske is facing a federal charge of attempted murder against a Supreme Court justice.
This story ought to be headline news but The New York Times buried the story instead. Maher slammed the paper and noted the double standards and bias in their reporting.
“The New York Times buried this,” Maher said. “If this had been a liberal Supreme Court justice that someone came to kill, it would’ve been on the front page.”
“And that’s what’s so disappointing about a paper like The New York Times because they just wear their bias on their sleeves, and if it’s not part of something that feeds our narrative, f*** it, we bury it,” Maher asserted.

Maher didn’t stop at the Times, however. He also criticized Senate Majority Leader Democrat Chuck Schumer for his “very inflammatory words” against Kavanaugh and expressed concern that Schumer’s threats “inspired” Roske to his act of terror.
Maher said that Schumer’s rhetoric “released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions!”
If President Trump can be blamed for Jan. 6 after telling his supporters to go “peacefully” and “patriotically” to the Capitol, then Schumer should absolutely be held accountable for literally threatening the safety of Supreme Court justices when someone goes out and tries to murder them.
Another panel member on “Real Talk,” Substack writer Josh Barro, noted that the whole situation is a reflection of the undermining of America’s institutions.
Barro claimed that the assassination attempt is “related to the perception that a lot of Americans have where they don’t think these institutions are legitimate anymore.”
“And that creates the willingness these nutty people have to go and try to take matters into their own hands and shoot people,” Barro said. “And I think it’s a really worrying trend in our politics and I agree it’s not solely limited to one side of the aisle.”
It might not be limited to one side of the aisle but we’d have to say one side of the aisle is certainly more guilty of delegitimizing our national institution than the other. Leftists routinely disparage and degrade institutions and figures that they see as conflicting with their interests.
The left-wing media outlets are in on this as they push the narratives spewed by Democrats and suppress stories that don’t serve their agenda.

Even if something happened to him this would be a small story. Partisan News outlets carry on as if they can do whatever they like. And for the moment that is how it is.
But what goes around comes around.
When they get theirs it will destroy their senses and delicacies. Gawd! Just waiting for that day.
