Charles Barkley To Retire From “Inside The NBA” Thanks To Cancel Culture & Censorship

(Rallying Patriots) – Cancel culture ruins everything. Just ask NBA legend and analyst Charles Barkley who says he plans to retire in a couple years at age 60, saying, “You can’t even have fun nowadays.”

During an interview (listen here) with a Washington DC sports radio station, 106.7 The Fan, on Monday, Barkley discussed how cancel culture has led him to make the decision to retire in two years.

He told hosts Grant and Danny that he and his “Inside the NBA” crew have so much fun while working off camera and started saying he wishes there were microphones to record the behind-the-scenes shenanigans but stopped and said if there were they’d probably all be fired.

“The PC people are overboard right now,” he noted. “You can’t even have fun nowadays without these jacka**es trying to get you canceled and things like that.”

He said he’s “trying to hang on for another couple of years” until he turns 60 and then the cancel mob “can kiss my a**.”

He went on to explain, “All we ever talk about behind the scenes is like, ‘Yo man, be careful going in this direction.’ We can’t even have fun anymore. We’ve had fun all these years and now all of a sudden everybody’s trying to get everybody fired.”

He noted that one of his favorite phrases has been “we agree to disagree” but said that nowadays in America’s current divisive state, when people disagree with you, “they’re coming for your head.”

Barkley wasn’t holding anything back. He went on to slam the people in charge saying, “And a lot of our bosses are cowards, I say, ‘Context matters,’ and they say, ‘Context doesn’t matter.’ I say, ‘That’s total BS, context always has to matter.’”

“If you crack a joke the wrong way, they’re like, ‘Oh, no, no, no, you crossed the line,’” Barkley went on. “I mean, they won’t even let me talk about San Antonio anymore! You know, when I’m always talking about their big ole women down in San Antonio. They’re like, ‘Charles, we got one lady (who) wrote an article.’ I’m like, ‘First of all, I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio; I was just joking around.’”

According to the basketball legend, San Antonio fans think the joke is funny, explaining, “We’ve been having fun with this for probably 10–15 years. When we go to San Antonio, the people are having a blast with it. The people in San Antonio had T-shirts made up.”

The leftist woke mob is slowly turning the United States into a totalitarianism where only one opinion matters and is “right.”

TV commentators like Barkley are right to be gearing up to get out of the business. It’s becoming too volatile.

You can’t do or say anything anymore without someone, somewhere taking offense to it and demanding that their feelings be justified by the firing, doxxing, or destroying of whomever offended them.

It’s sick.

What’s even more frustrating is the outright hypocrisy the outrage mob operates under. As long as someone makes an offensive comment or joke that falls in line with their woke ideology, it’s allowed to stand, no matter how offensive or divisive it actually is.

Just take Joe Biden himself for example. Biden has repeatedly made incredibly racist comments but is never held to task for them. He can say whatever he wants, whenever he wants because he’s on board with the radical left.

The hypocrisy is astounding and the absurd outrage culture is literally ruining lives and careers in America.

When is enough going to be enough already?

  1. One of the most noticeable differences with the woke mob is their lack of humor. They are the most unhappy people ever. They wake up every day thinking of ways to make people’s lives miserable. They live in a delusional world and make up rules to fit their narrative. You are not allowed to differ with them or they will cancel you and ruin your life.

  2. Agree with him or not, he’s a bright fellow and it’s a shame. He’ll be missed. Smith is a superb observer too.

  3. I wish he would not quit. He is loved and respected and we need people like him to stand against the PC agenda. Unlike some celebrities, his fans will listen to what he says because he is real not some blowhard. We need to fight back and leaving will make them feel they are winning.
