(Rallying Patriots) – Liberals are almost as obsessed with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as they are with President Trump.
Gov. DeSantis has become the face of the anti-left opposition, which consists of the vast majority of Americans. Naturally, the left absolutely hates him.
Just like they do to Trump, the left makes up lies and slanders DeSantis on a regular basis.
One of the most awkward and bizarre attacks on DeSantis came at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Saturday. The event’s headline entertainer, Comedy Central host Trevor Noah, went on a riff about DeSantis, even addressing him in the audience.
The only problem, DeSantis wasn’t in the room. He wasn’t at the event at all.
Naturally, in a room full of establishment media “journalists” no one bothered to fact check whether or not DeSantis was even sitting in the room as Noah continued to address him.
“Many big names here tonight,” Noah said. “One of my favorites, Ron DeSantis is here. I’m actually surprised that he found the time. You know, he has been so busy trying to outmaneuver [former President Donald] Trump for 2024.”
Noah not only pointed to the crowd as if DeSantis was in the audience but then he started talking directly to him as if he was sitting right there.
“I see you, Ron! I see you, player.”
“I see what you’ve been doing,” he said. “Blaming Trump for the lockdowns, distancing yourself from the vaccines that Trump created with his own two hands …”
“But Ron, Ron is playing it coy, man,” Noah said, gesturing yet again to the audience.
Even the cameraman appeared to be panning the crowd to show DeSantis’ reaction to the “jokes” but was unable to find him, of course, because he wasn’t there.

Perhaps Noah, and the cameraman, were genuinely under the impression DeSantis was there (despite not being able to see him) since he was listed in the event’s program as being in attendance.
Really though, they should have known better. Anyone who knows anything about Ron DeSantis knows that the White House Correspondents dinner isn’t exactly his scene.
On Monday, DeSantis confirmed he was nowhere near the event, or the nation’s capital, Saturday during a news conference in Florida. He also confirmed he would never have even considered going to the event in the first place.
“I would never attend that,” he said. “I have no interest in that. I did not watch it. I don’t care what they do. But for them to advertise me, when that invitation was rejected by my office, that is a lie.”

He took the opportunity to slam the mainstream media clowns and noted that Noah’s act is proof that they have earned their poor reputations with the American people.
“And so here they are, saying how important they are, that they’re somehow these paragons of truth, and yet there they are lying about something that is readily verifiable,” he said.
“And so the idea that I was there is false. The idea that I would have ever gone is false. And why they would want to try to perpetuate a lie about that, I don’t know. But I think it just shows you why that cabal of people in D.C.-New York are so reviled by so many Americans. I think it’s a reputation that’s been well deserved.”
DeSantis has been standing strong for the American people since the COVID pandemic which has made him public enemy #1 for the rabid leftists who hate America, freedom and the constitution.
The White House Correspondents’ dinner is the last place you’d find Gov. DeSantis.
President Trump never attended the event himself and that should speak volumes about the establishment media crowd and the Democrats who eagerly attend and rub shoulders with the very mouthpieces who push their shameless propaganda.
