BREAKING: Massive Johns Hopkins Study DESTROYS COVID Lockdown Narrative

(Rallying Patriots) – Uh oh. What happens when “following the science” takes us away from tyrannical COVID mitigation efforts and rules?

Will the science worshippers change course and admit their folly? Of course, there’s absolutely no chance of that, nonetheless, yet another study has come out proving all of the lockdowns, measures, rules, restrictions and edicts have been totally and completely futile.

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University have released the findings of a systematic review and meta-analysis of thousands of studies they conducted in order to determine whether or not there is empirical evidence to prove the belief that the COVID mortality rate was reduced because of “lockdowns.”

In the end, the researchers concluded that such policies are “ill-founded” and should be “rejected.”

“While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted,” the researchers wrote in the abstract. “In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”

It’s great that there is now a study to prove what sane people all across the globe have been saying since the beginning of this never-ending charade.

The meta-analysis, titled “A Literature Review and Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Lockdowns on COVID-19 Mortality,” began by identifying 18,590 studies that potentially could support the belief that lockdowns reduce COVID-19 mortality.

“After three levels of screening, 34 studies ultimately qualified. Of those 34 eligible studies, 24 qualified for inclusion in the meta-analysis,” the researchers wrote.

The studies were then divided into three groups being lockdown stringency index studies, shelter-in-place-order studies, and specific non-pharmaceutical intervention studies.

They defined “lockdowns” as “the imposition of at least one compulsory, non-pharmaceutical intervention,” in other words, government policies restricting people’s regular activities, for example limiting movement, closing schools and businesses, and banning international travel.

What they found was that lockdowns in Europe and the US reduced COVID mortality by only 0.2% on average and shelter-in-place orders by an average of 2.9%, while they found there was no “broad-based evidence” proving non-pharmaceutical interventions had any noticeable effect on COVID mortality.

These conclusions should come as no surprise as they corroborate what other studies of hard data from around the world have also found. These mitigation efforts have done virtually nothing to stop the spread of the virus or reduce mortality rates while causing all manner of unintended consequences.

These consequences have been documented by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

WND reported in December that the CDC warned that measles was becoming a growing threat because of disruptions to childhood vaccinations caused by the lockdowns.

The WHO has reported on an increase of malaria cases in its latest malaria report from December which said that amid “disruptions” to health services during the pandemic, malaria cases and deaths rose significantly in 2020 compared to the previous year.

Stanford Medical School professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya commented on the WHO report, saying, “The lockdowners who championed the policies that caused the sharp increase in malaria deaths in 2020 will do their best to ignore this because they are blind to collateral harms from the lockdowns, especially if they befall the poor worldwide,” he said on Twitter.

The entire COVID pandemic has been a scam from the beginning. Instead of protecting the vulnerable, everyone was forced into isolation and compliance with nonsense rules and restrictions that have only made illness worse. Not to mention what it’s done to our economy.

It’s time for the charade to come to an end already.
