(Rallying Patriots) – If you’re Joe Biden or a member of his twisted, corrupt administration, you are probably throwing a very toddler-esque temper tantrum right now, complete with foot stomping and lots and lots of tears.
The reason?
Well, according to The Western Journal, a pandemic health policy that was used to help expel illegal aliens from the United States on the basis that they might have been exposed to the coronavirus, must now remain in place according to a ruling from a judge last Friday. This blocks the current administration’s plan to lift the restriction some time this week.
Keep in mind that even with this policy in place the current mess at the southern border is atrocious. Just imagine how bad the crisis would be if they lifted this policy? It would be disastrous for the entire nation, but especially for the southern border states.
The administration can appeal, of course, however the ruling dramatically increases the likelihood that Title 42 will not come to an end on Monday. Illegal aliens have been removed from the country more than 1.9 million times since March 2020 under this provision.
“U.S. District Judge Robert Summerhays in Lafayette, Louisiana, ordered that the restrictions stay in place while a lawsuit led by Arizona and Louisiana — and now joined by 22 other states — plays out in court,” the report said.
“The states argued that the administration failed to adequately consider the effects that lifting the restrictions would have on public health and law enforcement,” the report continued. “Drew Ensign, an attorney for the state of Arizona, argued at a hearing that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention failed to follow administrative procedures requiring public notice and time to gather public comment.”
Justice Department lawyer Jean Lin spoke with the judge saying that the CDC was empowered to lift an emergency health restriction it believed wasn’t necessary now. She then went on to say that the order was a matter of health policy, not immigration.
Summerhays, a judge that was appointed by President Donald Trump, had already ruled in favor of the states by stopping all efforts to bring the pandemic-era rule to an end. Title 42 is one of several policies from Trump’s time in office that was used to help deter illegal immigration along the Mexican border that has been nixed by Biden, only to be brought back to life through a judge.
“Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on whether to allow the administration to force migrants to wait in Mexico for hearings in U.S. immigration court,” the Western Journal reported.
“That case, challenging a policy known as “Remain in Mexico,” originated in Amarillo, Texas. It was reinstated in December on the judge’s order and remains in effect while the litigation plays out,” the report added.
We need this policy in place for a number of reasons, a couple of which include helping to fight off further infections of COVID and also to prevent illegal aliens from entering the country en masse, as they are doing right now.
