(Rallying Patriots) – While leftists continue to fight for supposed “equality” they’ve also been embracing discrimination in the name of public health safety. It’s the kind of hypocrisy we’ve come to expect from Democrats in recent years.
This hypocrisy is, however, becoming downright dangerous.
Hospitals are now routinely discriminating against unvaccinated patients who are on various transplant lists in the name of COVID, the most recent incident taking place in Massachusetts.
LifeNews.com reports that Boston hospital Brigham and Women’s Hospital removed a dying man’s name from their heart transplant list because he is not vaccinated.
31-year-old D.J. Ferguson’s heart has deteriorated so much it’s at the point that it will no longer work on its own. He is in desperate need of a heart transplant. The hospital knows this too well, that’s why D.J. was first in line to get a heart transplant, according to his father David Ferguson.
However, “because of his unvaccinated status, the hospital ruled that he was no longer eligible for the transplant.”
This decision is pretty shocking considering the thousands of reports of myocarditis (a heart condition) from the vaccines along with thousands of deaths from the side effects of the shots.
Then there’s the revelation from the federal government itself that some patients are better off not getting the shots.
David Ferguson explained, “My son has gone to the edge of death to stick to his guns and he’s been pushed to the limit. It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it. It’s a policy they are enforcing and so because he won’t get the shot, they took him off the list of a heart transplant.”
The hospital had the audacity to defend their decision, saying that the COVID shots, which are still under experimental classification, are among “several vaccines and lifestyle behaviors required for transplant candidates in the Mass General Brigham system in order to create both the best chance for a successful operation and also the patient’s survival after transplantation.”
Getting shots that are notorious for having adverse effects on people’s hearts is creating the “best chance” for success and survival for someone who needs a new heart? So either the shots kill D.J. before he gets the transplant or the shots could potentially damage his new heart once he gets it.
Sure makes a lot of sense.
LifeNews reports that the family is considering their options including the possibility of moving D.J. to another facility.
“I think my boy is fighting pretty damn courageously and he has integrity and principles he really believes in and that makes me respect him all the more,” David Ferguson said.
The LifeNews reports said that refusing transplant list patients is a growing trend around the world. In Australia, it has been confirmed that unvaccinated patients are being removed from transplant lists and the University of Colorado Health system has refused permission for unvaccinated transplant candidates.
Meanwhile, illegal aliens are still permitted to receive top care from our country’s healthcare providers. Columnist Michelle Malkin aptly pointed out the double standard.
“According to estimates from 2019 cited in a recent study published by the American Journal of Kidney Disease, there are between 5,500 and nearly 9,000 illegals with kidney failure in the U.S. There’s now a COVID-era push to provide them not only with emergency-room dialysis (at an estimated cost of $400,000 per illegal alien per year) but also with outpatient dialysis under Medicaid. Conveniently, the United Network for Organ Sharing and Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network do not document immigration status, so there are no reliable estimates of exactly how many illegal aliens have received organ transplants in the U.S. At least one scientific journal article identified 400 illegal aliens who had received kidney transplants since 2005 – most in California at taxpayer expense,” she explained.
She further wrote about Leilani Lutali, an American citizen with stage 4 kidney disease who has been denied life-saving treatments, including a transplant, because her donor is unvaccinated.
Hospital officials are now denying Lutali the kidney being offered by donor Jaimee Fougner that could save her life because Fougner is not vaccinated.
“‘Trust the science,’ stop asking questions, and comply or die,” Malkin wrote.
She continued, “Leilani has now been placed on the ‘inactive’ list – a death sentence.”
“I reached out to UCHealth, whose communications vice president Dan Weaver confirmed in a statement to me that, ‘In almost all situations, transplant recipients and living donors at UCHealth are now required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in addition to meeting other health requirements and receiving additional vaccinations.'”
Malkin warned, “Yes, my fellow citizens, we have now arrived at the insane point in America where unlawful immigration status provides more protection than unvaccinated status – and where health care is a taxpayer-subsidized right for indigent illegal aliens, but not faithful, pro-life Christians who stand up against medical tyranny.”
This should not be allowed to stand. When are Americans going to wake up and stop complying with all of the COVID madness? The time is now. Enough is enough already.
