Biden Admin Torched For Gas-Stove Ban: ‘Pry It From My Cold Dead Hands’

(Rallying Patriots) – It is utterly amazing how greedy for power and wealth the radical left is. It seems their hunger for control over the American people is insatiable as they truly are dead set on attempting to rule over us and make every single decision for our safety and health without our consent.

How anyone in their right mind can vote for the left is truly mind boggling. But alas, many do, which is why we have ridiculous issues like an attempted ban on gas stoves by left-wingers in our government. Again, the lust for power is astounding.

Peter LaBarbera of WND reported that the left’s movement to ban gas stoves is catching a lot of heat, as one GOP congressman wrote, “If the maniacs in the White House come for my stove, they can pry it from my cold dead hands.”

Notice in the pictures below how every single leftist has a gas stove, the very item they want to ban you and I from having in our homes? You can guarantee that none of them are going to give up their gas stoves if a ban actually happens. No, it will only be the little folk of the country, the regular American citizen, who suffers at the hands of their ridiculous quest for more power.

“U.S. Rep. Dr. Ronny Jackson, R, Tx., the former physician to the president under Presidents Obama and Trump, made [the] “cold dead hands” comment after leftist media reports including CNN and the Washington Post heralded a new study linking ‘gas stove pollution’ to childhood asthma,” LaBarbera said.

“The science is showing us that having a gas stove in a small apartment, especially with bad ventilation, it’s like having a car idling there,” CNN’s “climate change correspondent” Bill Weir stated during a segment on “CNN Newsroom” with hosts Erica Hill and Jim Sciutto.

The brand new study, which is being hyped to no end by liberal media, quickly drew criticism from conservatives over alleged conflicts of interest.

An article from the Daily Caller News Foundation states that the study, “Population Attributable Fraction of Gas Stoves and Childhood Asthma in the United States,” was funded by two climate activist groups, clearly left-leaning in their politics, known as the Rocky Mountain Institute and Rewiring America. Gee, it’s almost like they have something to gain from pushing anti-gas stove rhetoric.

RMI is working to “change the global energy system to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 50 percent by 2030,” their website says, while RA is all about “electrifying everything” in communities all over the country.

The meta-analysis study was “co-authored by Brady Seals, the manager of RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings arm that aims to retrofit buildings with electric appliances,” and also RA Research Associate Talor Gruenwald, who once worked on RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings team” as per the Daily Caller story.

But, as you probably already expected, the authors have denied there being any sort of conflict of interests involving their research. Nothing to see here, ladies and gentlemen.

LaBarbera continued, “Following the release of the study, Richard Trumka Jr., a commissioner with the federal Consumer Product Safety Commission, told Bloomberg that banning the manufacture and import of gas stoves is ‘on the table’ if they ‘can’t be made safe.’ In December 2022, ‘Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and 20 other Democratic lawmakers urged the commission to crack down on gas stove emissions, stating that the pollution produced by the cooking tool disproportionately affects minority and low-income households,’ according to DCNF.”

Jackson’s full tweet read, “I’ll NEVER give up my gas stove. If the maniacs in the White House come for my stove, they can pry it from my cold dead hands. COME AND TAKE IT!”

Everyone’s favorite Democratic Socialist, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York replied to him by tweeting, “Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance.” She then posted a second tweet that contained a link to a 2020 report from Vox that featured the headline, “Gas stoves can generate unsafe levels of indoor air pollution.”

Jackson fired back, “@aoc says gas stoves cause “reduced cognitive performance” – yet she uses a gas stove? Is this a self diagnosis? AOC, as a medical doctor, I can tell you this: what’s wrong with your head IS NOT caused by stoves. Something WAY BIGGER is causing your decreased cognitive function!”

“Republicans quickly seized on the Democrats’ overreach, even launching a “Save Our Stoves” online fundraising campaign. Meanwhile, both of President Joe Biden’s Delaware homes appear to have the very appliance his administration is contemplating banning gas stoves, as WND reported,” LaBarbera remarked.

The Daily Caller then disclosed that Rocky Mountain Institute, which is using the new study to prompt electric stoves, “has received millions in donations from Breakthrough Energy, a green energy investment firm founded by Bill Gates, as well as the Bezos Earth Fund and Bloomberg Philanthropies…”

The Daily Caller also noted that “there is no evidence of an association between the use of gas as a cooking fuel and either asthma symptoms or asthma diagnosis,” a study from the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood revealed. The study sampled close to 500,000 kids all over the world.
